Work has progressed on the long ford footpath at Tealby Thorpe that has been collapsing. As such some of the circular walkers may not be able to do a round route - although at this time it is still passable.
Update - 1pm, 28/10/21:
They've finished for the day; path still passable. It's a bigger job than they thought so back on Monday with a digger and bigger rocks!
Update - 4pm, 03/11/21:
The contractors have now finished the work they were asked to do and things now look much better and safer. There is more camber on one part of the path than we'd like but that was not in the area they were asked to repair, apparently. The foreman tells us that under that area is a large void which he has photographed and will show to the relevant council official. Whether any further action will result as a consequence, we'll keep you updated. At least now the most dangerous part of the path has been sorted.
