New - Docks Beer - at Tealby Village Shop

Updated: Jul 6

Grimsby’s super successful new craft ales by Docks Beers will be available in the shop from Monday 3rd June.

Docks Beers is the son of Axholme Brewing Co which was founded in 2013 and continues to brew real ales in Crowle, North Lincolnshire.

In 2017, after making hundreds of different beers in styles old and new, and honing their brewing skills in pursuit of ever better beer, they decided it was time to build a craft beer brand. And so they set about constructing their new brewery from the ground up in a Grimsby Church. One year later Docks Beers was born.

Many of the team are sons and daughters of Grimsby. They brew close to the town’s famous Docks and their brewing is inspired both by their location and the hard work ethic of dockers past, present and future. They’re proud of these roots and take the same approach to their brewing which is why they always endeavour to put the graft in craft beer.

The Craft Beers

HARD GRAFT

Session pale ale   |   4% alc vol

They laboured long and hard to get this beer right. It’s a punchy, piney, pale ale underpinned by barley and rye malt with bold flavours from Citra, Simcoe and Sorachi Ace hops. Graft in a glass.

NEVER SAY DIE

New world ipa   |   6% alc vol

They brewed this robust New World IPA for when things get tough. The tropical and citrus kick from Magnum, Chinook and Mosaic hops is a reminder that surrender isn’t an option.

GRAVEYARD SHIFT

Milk stout + coconut   |   4.5% alc vol

Chocolate malt and coconut are the bedrock of this dark as night milk stout. Lactose additions boost texture and body making for a rich, smooth finish – a perfect end to the graveyard shift.
